Our Sales Executives work with Sales Management, Regional Marketing and Vertical Marketing Leadership to define and achieve strategic goals. This will involve working with field marketing to build campaigns, tailoring business assets and tools to the needs of the market segment.

This role can be remote on the condition you can easily travel to customer locations.

EMEA Business Consultant Team Leader

At the beginning the distribution between the 2 roles will average around 70% on Business Consultant activities and 30% on BC team Leader. Progressively with the growth of the BC team, the part allocated to the team leadership will grow.

As Team Leader, you drive and manage the EMEA pre-sales team and support activities for the development of complex solutions presales cycle. Provide/oversee pre-sales support in sales presentations and product demonstrations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As Team Lead

  • Federate, demonstrate leadership and drive the PreSales (BC) team by communicating clear vision
  • Set standards, best practices as well as encourage innovative ideas
  • Develop tools used by the team to achieve best performance
  • Provide a structured environment towards tools and methods
  • Coordinate the actions and priorities of the PreSales team. Monitor team members’ load management and tracking
  • Provide feedback to team members on performance and quality
  • Coach for existing team members and new hires
  • Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
  • May provide product feasibility analysis in support of sales efforts with Sales Representatives
  • Work with other departments such as Marketing and Product Management to highlight customer product expectations
  • May publish technical articles regarding specific applications
  • Manage on a daily basis the BC’s team (approval of absences, travel, expense reports, new equipment, etc.)

As Senior Business Consultant

  • Partner with the Sales person to present the product and/or solution to the prospect/customer. Provide subject matter expertise in support of customer process improvement and compliance with business processes and procedures
  • Prepare and deliver application solution demonstrations as required. The demos are built as a key element of the Sales process and the exchanges provided to the prospects/customers product and/or solutions advice. Analyze the functional & technical needs of the customer, respond to RFP with functional & technical specifications and design adapted solutions. Evaluate the solutions in terms of feasibility, planning, costs and elaborate the technical proposal. Competitively position the QAD DynaSys solutions
  • Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of the functional capabilities across the breadth of QAD DynaSys’ solution applications in order to provide customers and sales reps with product and/or solutions advice and/or demonstrations during engagement discussions.   • Develop and maintain skills to promote QAD DynaSys trusted advisor status with customers and effectively deliver company’s solution messages

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Education/Licenses: Bachelors or Master degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science is desirable.

Experience: At least 10 years previous Pre-Sales experience preferably in Supply Chain Planning solution with at least 2 or 3 successful years in PreSales team management.

Computer skills: in-depth knowledge of at least one of QAD DynaSys’ competitors (APO, Demantra, JDA, Futurmaster, OMP, Azap, Kinaxis…). Strong PowerPoint and Excel /Word skills, experience with using a CRM. Experience in other “presentation” tools will be a plus.

Other knowledge or skills: Understand the Supply Chain (SC) industry incl. operations, business issues, typical organization and culture. Understand QAD DynaSys’ products and our competitive differentiation as relates to the needs of the SC Industry. Have the breadth and versatility to function both at the strategic and tactical level.
