With a turnover of 5.4 million Euros in 2005 – which represents an increase of 14.3% in comparison with 2004, greater than the worldwide Supply Chain market growth for the same period, and a net profitability higher than 13% –, DynaSys appears as the European leader in Supply Chain Management solutions and gives itself the capabilities for its ambitions in terms of development.

DynaSys still at the leading edge of the market in terms of Research & Development

The constant technological and functional evolutions applied to the DynaSys products allow the editor to fulfil companies’ needs and expectations in matters of performance. By anticipating the very rapid evolutions towards global collaborative planning, the Research & Development of DynaSys indeed launched 5 years ago the complete re-development of its range, which integrates to the n.SKEP solutions the most recent technologies, in order to keep up its technological leadership.

In 2005, DynaSys was the first APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) provider to announce the migration of its collaborative solution suite n.SKEP ® to the .NET/64 bits architecture. From now on, this anticipation allows to equip companies which are already benefiting from the 64 bits servers advantages and basing on a .NET strategy.

‘The choices we made when we started to design n.SKEP ® and its ‘Single Click Collaborative’ ® technology allow us to move more rapidly to the .NET/64 bits environment. Some years ago we made the right technological choices’, confirms Augustin Holveck, CEO of DynaSys. He adds: ‘The migration of the n.SKEP ® suite to the .NET/64 bits architecture will correspond to the needs of the companies and come up to their expectations by simplifying the implementation and maintenance of the applications.’

DynaSys hold its positioning on promising fields

Today, DynaSys provides a global and integrated suite covering sales forecasts (Demand Planning), Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) as well as production and procurement planning, now offering in a single way the whole range of specific functionalities necessary for companies whose planning is related to a Lean Manufacturing environment. n.SKEP ® allows therefore to meet the rising expectations of companies’ whose aim is to improve their resources and their cost with a maximum satisfaction of their customers and in a Global Logistics approach. Thanks to its vertical approach and its Lean Manufacturing expertise, as well as the flexibility, reliability and agility of its solutions, the editor now answers in a very short time to the whole Supply Chain problematics of its customers.

Moreover, DynaSys also extends its activities by reinforcing its presence on the Middle Market in order to satisfy mid-sized firms looking for comprehensive solutions ranging from forecasting to resource planning, which they expect to be user-friendly, easy to use and to implement, and able to manage large quantities of data at mastered costs.

DynaSys adapts its n.SKEP ® offer to verticals

With its 20 years experience with large industrial groups as well as with SMEs, and its knowledge of the specificities of food & beverages and pharmaceutical industries, DynaSys announced in 2005 the business segmentation of its n.SKEP ® solutions for the food & beverages and pharmaceutical manufacturers in order to answer better to specific business constraints. In 2005, the software sales (new licences) corresponds to 31% for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, 24% for food & beverages and 14% for automotive, thus representing the three main sectors the DynaSys solutions are dedicated to. The 31% of the remaining sales are shared out between several CPG companies or other industries.

The food & beverages industry, which represents about the half of the DynaSys customers, is historically the first sector addressed by the editor. Also historically present in the fast growing sector of pharmaceutical industry, DynaSys has developed specific competences to enable these companies to control better their Supply Chain in an ever changing context, with a quick Lean Manufacturing adoption. The needs of suppliers for automotive and various CPG companies also take advantage from specific efforts and attention of the editor.

‘Industrial companies from the food & beverages sector have to face ever growing constraints coming from the markets, mass market and shareholders, whereas the pharmaceutical context is highly evolving, marked by a transformation of the markets and a rapid diversification of the distribution networks, as well as several mergers and acquisitions. The automotive sector and its subcontractors are also looking for a rigorous and integrated Supply Chain approach. So our n.SKEP ® solutions are particularly well adapted for companies which want to remain competitive by optimizing their global supply chain through collaborative planning solutions. It is also a way to maintain our leading position in the sectors we address since 1985’ , adds Augustin Holveck.

DynaSys confirms its national and international strategy

The DynaSys solutions are nowadays used by over 250 prestigious companies in France, Europe, in the United States and in the rest of the world. In 2005, DynaSys has indeed signed huge national and international projects including over 100 users on average, thus confirming its development strategy and its leading positioning on the Supply Chain market.

This development intention is also shown by the participation of the editor to major European Supply Chain conferences in 2006 (Brussels, Prague…), where DynaSys will have the opportunity to present to the different actors on the market its Supply Chain planning and optimization solutions as well as it solid expertise in several industries (pharma/chemicals, food & beverages, CPG, cosmetics, apparel, tableware, automotive,…) for businesses with a European or worldwide Supply Chain.

DynaSys still strengthening its sales team

Beyond its highly qualified specialists who have a good technical and industrial experience through numerous huge projects on behalf of international groups in different industries, DynaSys decides in 2006 to reinforce its teams by recruiting experienced sales and marketing staff in order to collaborate on European projects and to satisfy mid-sized industries moving towards Supply Chain planning.

‘The objective of these recruitments is to sustain our development and to accept growth challenges, adapting our marketing to the rapidly mature and constantly evolving market. By strengthening our teams, we aim quick, sizeable and profitable results!’, adds Augustin Holveck.

DynaSys shares the experiences of its customers

In 2006, DynaSys launches a club so that Supply Chain Managers can exchange. Essentially based on its customer to begin, this club – which should be pragmatic and rich – aims at sharing experiences and stimulating reflection. The exchange and capitalization of knowledge will therefore be the primary objective of the Supply Chain Managers Club, whose first session will being held next spring. The promotion of the strategic Supply Chain Managers function and their place by the corporate Managing Directions are part of the main missions of these meetings.

‘It appears out of the primary discussions I have had with the managers at our customers, that the Supply Chain still deserves further promotion at every levels of the company and that the specific arguments which are put forward from this point of view are essential to its success. This exchange process will take place through the case studies of several companies presented during a round table, thus allowing Supply Chain Managers to stand better in comparison to how other companies handle; indeed, discussing about a similar problematic with people from different companies and contexts allows to stand back from daily taken actions. As a pioneer, DynaSys finds itself in a privileged situation to organize a very constructive and pragmatic exchange’, concludes Augustin Holveck.
