From the beginning of the n.SKEP ® suite design and its ‘Single Click Collaborative ® ‘ technology, DynaSys developed its extended Supply Chain optimisation solutions by relying on the Windows .NET/64 bits environment. From now on, this anticipation will allow to equip companies with 64 bits servers, based on the .NET strategy.
‘The choices we made when we started to design n.SKEP ® and its ‘Single Click Collaborative’ ®’ technology allow us to move more rapidly to the .NET/64 bits environment. Some years ago we made the right technological choices, thus enabling our customers to benefit from this new architecture by the end of summer 2005’ , confirms Ariel Weil, General Manager Assistant of DynaSys. He adds: ‘The migration of the n.SKEP ® suite to the .NET/64 bits architecture will correspond to the needs of the companies and come up to their expectations by simplifying the implementation and maintenance of the applications .’
The improvements provided by this migration can be noticed at different levels: first of all, the memory capacities of the 64 bits allow better reactivity with more and more considerable volumetrics that can be memory loaded. Moreover, this new technology will enable a real-time interoperability with the different corporate IT systems. Finally, the new .NET/64 bits technology will allow the editor to improve its offer with new functionalities, dealing with detailed data integrated to the simulation environment on a tactical and strategic level.
As regards the ‘Single Click Collaborative’ ® technology:
As real collaborative decision-aid systems the SCM solutions n.SKEP ®, which are based on the ‘Single Click Collaborative’ ® technology, optimise and share Supply Chain data by a single ‘click’.
This powerful technology, which represents the result of 8 years of Research & Development, is essentially based on a work environment where data are calculated in real time (n.SKEP ® server) and optimised for volumetrics, facilitating significantly the collaborativeshare of specific business information .
This ‘Single Click Collaborative’ ® technology is also based on impact calculations, enabling to recalculate only necessary information. This reactivity, which did not exist until now, is coupled with a collaborative synchronization system:indeed, as a user modifies a value following a data capture or with a single ‘click’, all the parameters impacted at each level of the Supply Chain are automatically recalculated, immediately informing the other users of the changes carried out.
