The Financial Central Buying Office quickly had to deal with problematics such as sales forecasts, procurement as well as planning and optimisation of its distribution network, and wished to raise its performance faced to an increasing demand of consumers and to the requirements of modern distribution.
The objective was to automate the low added-value tasks, thus enabling to reduce stocks on platforms, to improve the answers to shops and to franchisees, to rationalize and to optimize procurement, to guarantee reactivity as well as an optimal service rate throughout the year, and an intra-group communication between the marketing and procurement teams, and the shops networks.
After considering several actors of the Supply Chain market, the Financial Central Buying Office decides in March 2006 to retain the collaborative solutions by DynaSys, that is to say n.SKEP ® Demand Planning for demand forecasting including detailed trade promotion management, n.SKEP ® Procurement Planning to plan procurement and manage supplier constraints, as well as n.SKEP ® Distribution Planning for the optimization of distribution network and stock management.
One of the reasons explaining why the Financial Central Buying Office of BUT has chosen the DynaSys solutions is that the editor offers an integrated and collaborative software. Moreover, the n.SKEP ® suite was retained because of its ergonomics, its flexibility as well as its powerful calculation and simulations capacity. What the customer also appreciated is the professional approach and the important implication of the DynaSys team concerning this project, which will be developed by the Financial Central Buying Office of BUT in close collaboration with the editor.
« The n.SKEP ® solutions proposed by DynaSys fully answered the distribution problematics the Financial Central Buying Office of BUT was confronted with » , adds Augustin Holveck, CEO of DynaSys. And he concludes: « Through the start of this new project, DynaSys is asserting itself as one of the main current Supply Chain actors in terms of distribution, and plans to maintain its leading position in this field. »
